About Me

Hi, I'm Kaz — the woman behind Wild Hunai.

Collector. Circular-fashion believer. Lifelong lover of Australian bohemian style.

Wild Hunai Australia grew from something very personal: a love of beautiful clothes with history, and a belief that the best pieces deserve to be worn for far longer than a single season.

My connection to the bohemian world of Northern New South Wales goes back decades—from Byron Bay and its markets to Nimbin, the rainforests and the creative communities that have always made this part of Australia feel a little different.

It is a place that taught me to value individuality, creativity and living a little more gently on the earth.

MY LOVE OF SPELL

I've been collecting Spell since the early Byron days.

Long before Wild Hunai existed, I was buying pieces that I loved, wearing them and—perhaps most importantly—keeping them.

Years later, many of those garments still feel just as beautiful.

That is what eventually became part of the idea behind Wild Hunai.

I realised that a wonderful garment doesn't suddenly lose its value because a collection has ended. Some pieces become even more special with time.

Today, I'm still an avid Spell collector—just like many of the women who find their way here.

WHAT IS WILD HUNAI?

Wild Hunai Australia is an independent Australian online boutique specialising in collectible, pre-owned and vintage fashion, with a particular love for archival Spell & the Gypsy Collective.

I source pieces individually rather than operating as a Spell stockist.

You'll find garments from collections past organised by year, collection, garment type and designer, making it easier for collectors to rediscover a piece they've been searching for—or stumble across one they never knew they needed.

Alongside vintage Spell, Wild Hunai celebrates Australian bohemian fashion, independent creativity and pieces worthy of another life.

WHY CIRCULAR FASHION?

Because some clothes are simply too good to disappear.

I don't believe a beautiful garment should become irrelevant because the fashion industry has moved on to another season.

Circular fashion gives us another choice.

Choose well. Wear it. Care for it. Pass it on.

Every pre-loved garment returned to a wardrobe gets another opportunity to be worn, remembered and eventually passed to someone else.

For me, sustainability isn't about perfection.

It's about making better choices wherever we can.

WHO IS WILD?

Wild is the spirit of Wild Hunai.

She's barefoot mornings, old Spell dresses, boots by the door, salt in her hair and a wardrobe collected over a lifetime rather than bought for a season.

She's a little bit Byron.

A little bit rock & roll.

A little bit feral hippie.

And completely comfortable wearing something with a past.

Through Wild, the old beach farmhouse and the world we've created around her, I can tell the Wild Hunai story visually—a story inspired by the Australian coast, vintage fashion, creativity, freedom and the beautiful imperfection of things that have already lived.

REAL GARMENTS ... A LITTLE MAGIC.

The garments offered for sale by Wild Hunai are real.

Our imagery may combine real photography with AI-assisted editing and creative enhancement to help build the visual world of Wild Hunai.

We're committed to being transparent about that process.

Product descriptions, sizing, condition information and garment details are provided to help you make an informed purchase, and additional information about a garment is always available on request.

Wild Hunai is primarily online, with plans to continue appearing at selected Queensland markets and events.

BEFORE YOU BUY

Vintage and collectible garments have lived a little. Age, storage, delicate fabrics and previous wear can all form part of their story.

Please read individual product descriptions, measurements and condition information carefully, and contact me if you'd like additional information before purchasing.

Please choose carefully. Due to the collectible and vintage nature of our pieces, Wild Hunai Australia does not offer refunds for change of mind. This does not exclude your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Please contact us if an item is faulty, significantly different from its description, or you have another concern with your order.

FOR GAIA, OUR MOTHER.

Always and all ways.
